If Deuce doesn’t start he’ll most likely play himself into the starting role sooner or later. Knicks depth also looks better being that you can sub Hart in for any guy 2-4. Payne Hart Shamet Precious Sims is a decent 2nd unit

Ok, I personally believe starting Deuce at the 2 is the better option as opposed to starting Hart. Our bench is taking a serious hit losing Donte and they are banking heavy on Deuce to take a big leap, which he may not do. I believe he absolutely can but will he is the question. I think he has gained some much confidence, and even more so if he were to start in this very strong lineup. Hart is firepower, rebounding, and hustle that the Knicks already have plenty of within the starting lineup. A combo of Cam Payne and Josh Hart coming off your bench can be pretty solid, especially if you keep KAT in the game with those guys to help create shots for them once defenses begin to collapse or double team him. Lastly, we should not expect Tyler Kolek to get many minutes early this season so long as the team stays healthy, but I think the earlier he gets acclimated to the NBA game, the more beneficial he would be running the backup PG spot behind Jalen. He is a creator who can take his own shot and I see lots of potential in him. I hope Thibs does too and doesn't keep him on the bench too often, but knowing Thibs, that's not likely.

I'm starting to get passed the trade and my distaste for losing Devo and Julius, but I can't deny the upside is high and Leon Rose hasn't failed us yet!

I think deuce is very athletic but he doesnt have good ball handling skills that's why he struggles to separate and struggles bringing up the ball at full court
