This deal is a lot of things - a cost-cutting move for Minnesota, a perfect fit for New York...and ultimately, a potential lose-lose for all involved.

The Timberwolves did the best they could to get out of the financial situation they were in. And for New York they got a Stretch 5 who can shoot the lights out

Timberwolves getting insane flexibility for Ants prime and getting to pay their young talent while also being able to make another move or splash FA signing while adding one of the best contracts in the league is in no way a loss. Saying the league average offense will somehow get worse is absolutely wild after trading for a top great 3&D performer and McDaniels had a down year. Adding Dillingham off the bench as well as having Naz Reid in the second unit. Ingles has a good catch and shoot 3. I just don’t see how Minnesota after arguably having an improved offense won’t be a top 4 western seed.

As a knicks fan, randle has been pretty fine on offense with either hartenstein or robinson on the floor, so the spacing wont really affect him just more so ant.

Having Naz start and have Randle come off the bench and run his own squad is the way to go. I'd even leave Donte to come off the bench with Randle.

The Knicks were right in pulling the trigger on this one. They got an adequate replacement for Hartenstein. They are easily a top four team in the East and a threat to make the Finals.

Thanks for the video. Everyone have been talking about the positives (theoretically) and don’t realize the more realistic negatives

There's nobody who can convince me the Wolves didn't win this trade. Traded an anchor for a couple of life preservers. Connelly just keeps cooking. It's amazing.

this was an absolute win-win trade i can’t believe im saying this, but both teams benefited equally from this deal

Towns is fr the tri-state and he played for Kentucky. He's built for this moment of his career 👌🏾🙌🏾☝🏿💪🏽⬆️🏆

The knicks won, obv. Kat is a slightly better player statistically than J Randal. Like, literally in every stat, it's wild.

Wolves boutta be an 7th or 8th seed. Towns is a lot more important to that team than people think and Ant is going to want out.

Nobody is putting an all star/all nba player on the bench, Randle has already played with a non shooting center so this would be a smooth transition. Plus Randle is a better passer inside the paint

Minnesota Timberwolves STACKED right now 💯

Twolves played well enough with Naz Reid taking KATs position in the starting rotation when KAT was hurt. I think the Wolves will be fine. I have more questions with the Knicks utilizing KAT and his questionable playoff history.

I see a Randle swap at the deadline but they could also do the impossible like Kawhi to Toronto

donte divencenzo should not be included in that trade i would love to see the nova 4 in the knicks together

The Harden-Simmons trade was the real lose-lose deal that's tough to beat 😂
