Their is so many people that discredit obito for no reason, the same reason they credit certain characters is the same reason they discredit obito it’s really disgusting.

I agree he was pretty heavily needed throughout the war...But, I am curious if there are any examples of more than 1 entity being fully sealed within a single vessel. I cannot remember any instances of that happening and so there very well may be a limit to how many things that "inner world" may be able to hold. The closest we got to this was Sasuke and Indira's arrow, but that wasn't within himself but rather his Susan'o and also for a very limited time. I am curious your thoughts.

I think a lot of the issues with Obito not being able to use the Rinnegan like Nagato comes down to the fact that Nagato had the Rinnegan for over two decades.

I think Obito just didn't have enough time to understand how to use all of those powers and to the extent he was able to use them he couldn't do so efficiently (I imagine kakashi using MS for the first few times.) Frankly given the massive chakra drain+ not being an Uzumaki who has years of training with the eyes it's impressive he could do jack shit with the Rinnegan

I think Madara didn't even have the level of control of the Rinnegan that Nagato did and it was Madara's Rinnegan that he had for who knows how long.

Frankly I'm impressed Obito was able to do what he was able to do given the time he had with the Rinnegan

As far as why Obito couldn't use Kamui in ten tales form...well frankly I think that's kinda dumb, but I guess in my head I imagine it like E=MC^2 like if we take chakra to be ≈ mass and mass as proportional to energy then the energy level Obito needs to transfer that mass instantly to another dimension just increased exponentially and just because you became a 10 tales jinchuriki doesn't mean you have full control over all of that power in spite of being given all of that "mass".

Obito potencial was definitely bigger than madara thus why he was "limitated by Kishi" on purpose. Madara took power from many sources. He took his brother eyes, Hashirama cells and had the rinnegan as a consequence, all of that could have been theorically achived by Obito so just imagine if he not only had both eyes bit also eternal mangekyou sharingan!

So I always thought he was one of three strongest ninjas but I hated him as a character cause of all the bs he started but watching a video about his power made me watch over from when he said he was Madara the first time and this man is a genius written character your right they stopped him from becoming full strength because there was no explanation on how he kept getting this strong no reincarnation nothing like that and can handle the power of the Otsosuski he has become my favorite character next to Itachi the way Kishimoto writes the Uchiha I know he has something amazing for Sarada

Obito was the biggest example of a character dumbed down by plot. Second is Sasuke. Juubito basically had two useless eyes literally just for plot reasons. Kamui eye is useless for no good reason and he never used the Rinnegan for anything besides reviving Madara.

Forget about white mask Obito they had to literally kill DMS Obito 3 times. Kishimoto had to make sure Obito was on 0 chakra the whole time. First he loses the ten tails and we’re told by kurama he won’t walk for months. He then loses the gedo statue and is forced to use Rinne rebirth. Both of these are supposed to kill the user, yet he survives?!?!? Then later he even is forced to over use his kamui and chakra reserves to the point blood is pouring out his eyes. And then he still proceeds to dodge kaguya’s fastest attack, use kamui and kill himself. Kishimoto literally had to have Obito kill himself.
Can you imagine how absolutely, Absurdly broken, DMS Obito would have been? Not only did he have DMS and a perfect susanno, he had so6p chakra, and since he had the rinnegan he would have been able to use so6p chakra rods. Give this man the 15 year boruto time skip and he will be stronger than any otsotsuk. Like why did they kill him of- Actually scratch that, I know why they killed him off. Cuz he would have absolutely Slapped the taste outta Momoshiki’s mouth. And toneri’s, and maybe even Ishiiki’s. If He thought Sasuke’s rinnegan was annoying, he would have been absolutely pissed trying to fight Obito. Not only could he phase through any attack, he could have warped peoples heads off while doing it. People talk all the time about how madara was killed becuz plot, or itachi was nerfed cuz plot. Just Remember Obito: The Literal Ghost of the Uchiha. Who had to have his eye ripped out, 2nd eye nerfed and be killed 4 times. Just so madara could be the villain.

Is it a plot hole that hinata did not notice Tobi’s sharigan being the same chakra color as kakashi’s during the itachi ark? If I remember correctly Ao remarked that his byakugan identifies the chakra colors of dojutsu when he exposed Danzo at the summit. Danzo had shisui eye covered but tobi has sharigan on full display.

Obito became less a character and more of an example of redemption. Being sent to war as a kid, crushed to near death, seeing best friend kill his love, waking up broken with the most evil human on the planet, to be manipulated forever (by the writers and Naruto world characters), going to war with the entire world and still finding the power to revert to a selfless Ninja that would die for his best friend...is fxckin epic.
