Tires go flat. Sometimes they'll pop and go flat in a few seconds but often, they'll have a persistent, slow leak that can be difficult to find. Today, I show you how to find slow leaks (sometimes caused by a nail in the tire) and repair them using a few simple tools. These repairs can be done at home or out on the road (if necessary). Great teachings Craig. This is my go too for nail hole repair in a tire. A plug has never let me down.

Always have a set in my trailer box im almost as good as you now with doing this I guess i should use the rubber cement that comes with it but I never do. I had one mower with 4-5 plugs in the tire😮

They work good, i had a plung in for the whole life of a tire no problem. Lol that gauge came apart like a school boys with a stolen lunch.

How's she goin'? Nice fix. But you know the tire was only flat on the bottom, so you were really in pretty good shape. That was a nice action shot of the pressure gauge exploding!! LOL Take care!!

Hi Craig, great video and demonstration on doing the repair, never seen a gauge do that and lucky it missed your eyes 👁👁, do you use the tyre pressures on the side of tyre wall and not the recommended pressures off the sticker on the door frame 🤔

Nice video! I had to smile at the idea of immersing the tire in water as a roadside solution... I live on the edge of what might as well be a desert in Texas, not much water to dunk a tire into. LOL
