بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In this video you will learn about Practice Problem 2.12 .
Find v1 and v2 in the circuit also calculate i1 and i2 and the power dissipated in the 12 ohm and 40 ohm resistors.

Use Series and Parallel Techniques to Solve this

Series Circuit & Connection :
If Two or more resistance are connected in Such a way that the Second Terminal of the First resistor is connected to the
First Terminal of the second resistor So, its Called Series Connection.

Finding the total resistance in Series.

Req = R1 + R2 + R3 +............Rn

Parallel Circuit & Connection :
If Two or more resistors are connected in Such a way that the First Terminal of the First resistor is connected to the
First Terminal of the second resistor and Second Terminal of the First resistor is connected to the
Second Terminal of the second resistor So, its Called Parallel Connection.

Mean Same & Same resistances terminal Connected.

Finding the total resistance in parallel.

1/Req = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 +.........1/Rn
