Pelican basically eat everything, they even eat other animal with almost the same size. It's the zoo fault to put pelican together with other birds.

Pelicans are predators that eat anything they can swallow. The zookeeper is at fault for putting them together. It would help if you put members of the same species together or with other large birds like shoebills or flamingos. Putting pelicans with small birds is like putting snacks in front of it and saying you can't eat it. =(

why would they put pelican together with a pigeon if they don't want it to happen, does the zoo there just throw random animals together without knowing how they interact? Pelicans are opportunistic hunters, they will catch and try to eat pretty much anything that will fit in their bills. Smaller birds and animals are among their prey not just fishes.

Putting pelicans in areas with smaller animals is extremely uneducated… Then locking them in small cages as punishment is extremely cruel.
