Both systems have their pros and cons. But believe me, current Democratic setup is essentially needed with further checks, balances plus pushup and pull downs to work effectively. We have pushup but not pull downs. A representative or a president is hard to remove from his chair if he is corrupt.

I knew a person from pak who was a pro-leftist and sort of nihilist and had a very negative view of nationalism, saying look at soviet and germany how a nationalistic leader treated them and blah(he doesn't know what communism is) While if your current government doesn't care about your own country then who else will? America? If your gov doesn't have pro-nation policies then who will care? Raga who cries in china about india's 'falling' democracy?

Let's say we develop into a type 1 or 2 civilisation in a millennium or 2 & we hve deep knowledge bout sci. N since we would also have colonies on other planets, we appoint ppl to govern/control the administration/forces of nature of that planet/earth.

Now if a great war or big calamity breaks out, the survivors wouldn't think of preserving the history or recording the cause. They just wanna survive. The few survivors gather at some river Valley, lose contact with other civilisation on other planets(who also go extinct) n restart humanity.

Maybe that's what happened to ppl b4 the Harappan civilisation. Maybe that's why the vedas have such great knowledge of science n cosmos. Maybe the "Gods" were just people appointed to take care of nature.

Coalition governments are desirable. If a certain region has voted for an MP, it’s probably because that MP cares best about that communities interests and can do the most for that community.

I respectfully disagree, it's one of the most resilient and stable systems when it comes to political systems, though the executive instability exists.
