Spektrum AR637T Testing on a Beast 60e Biplane from Horizon Hobby

Captain Chris and I were having so much fun setting up the gains for our AS3x stabilizers in the new Spektrum AR637T receivers. My Beast biplane has always been a fun handful, but with this new receiver my flights are stable and fun and it gives me the confidence for more radical maneuvers. Even the Captain, with 7 months of flying experience, is wowing some of the guys at our local club because he is gaining confidence in his airplanes perfect set up. Plus you get full telemetry which allows full flight times and knowledge of your systems status. The forward programming with my new NX10 transmitter is an easy 5 minute set up. These AR637T's are great!

(Note: Yes its vibrating, but it had a 1/4" missing off the tip of the prop from an earlier landing, so it got a new prop when we got home.)

the beginning when you was doing the loops...i could predict when you would throttle down...its because of you flying helicopters and its the same throttle response....when i fly my airplanes ive noticed that i do the same thing...im just now learning and being able to fly in stunt 2 and do loops and mild 3d...i love your vids so keep on bro!!!

The servos on the rudder and elevator appear to be very slow. Too slow to effectively torque roll. Even though I try to fly ahead of the plane during the torque roll, the response is too slow. Now I see you are using a flight stabilizing gyro? I am also using the stock prop it came with. CG is neutral. Batteries are, 6s 5000, fairly heavy. Any advice ?

I have that SAME plane! BUT, mine was nitro. Was gonna attempt to swap it out to electric. Just way too much stuff i don't have any idea how to do. Basically, its the fuse & both wings.

At least NOW, i know what i have (that i got suckered n2 to buying on a whim😳😭)

That's cool man ..thos stuped dear flys keep bitten me why I fly..I like race drones too and the bugs bite me why I'm using the goggles
