I don’t think Logan should have lashed out like that. BUT hear me out, Rory blamed everyone but herself for quitting school. When she stole a boat, she did take responsibility and then she quit school. When Jess came to see her, she realized what she was doing was wrong, and she BLAMED it on Logan? Out of all of the fights the 3 guys had w Rory, Logan’s was more valid than anyone.

He was an ass to Jess and obviously shouldn't have yelled but otherwise he was totally right in this fight. He never told her she shouldn't go back, he just didn't try to force her in any direction, which is exactly as it should be. None of this was his fault but Rory, as usual, likes to blame everyone but herself.

dean had every right to shout at her every single time he did. She was consistent when it came to turning down plans but had no problem with Jess coming over after cancelling on dean. He gets so much extra hate for his character + iknow he cheated but so did rory? Also he was practically forced to marry he was young and it was pressured upon him by his parents & rory was the love of his life, he was not over her and linzey was his escape from still loving rory.

It reminds me of when he yells at her that other time where he’s like you want to prep school you go to Yale grandparents are building in astronomy building in your name and she’s like I’m not living off a trust fund and he goes well you’re not exactly playing rent either

I love that this is the one show where the “bad boy” — who yes does have some issues & is a bit pushy with her — isn’t a bad person but just needed to grow. We love to simplify characters. No character in this show was simple.

At first I was definitely team dean bc I thought he treated her like a princess but as the seasons went on I realized he had a really short temper with her and when it got to the point where he was cheating on his literal wife I realized he was not good enough for her. Especially because there last relationship wasn’t really a relationship. Now Logan on the other hand was pretty much the perfect guy for her and only got mad when he was drunk and drank out of stress even though that’s not technically a “good” coping method he couldn’t help it. Now I love Dean for half the show but Logan is definitely the better guy for Rory!!🤍🤍🤍
