Is there any way to restyle the <select> tag? So that it matches the design of the other texts in the page

I'm surprised that the placeholder text in the textarea worked for you as you have it coded. The opening and closing tags for <textarea> have to be on the same line, nothing in between them, to make the placeholder text show up. Otherwise, the space or line break is considered to be data in the textarea, which overrides the placeholder. At least that's how it works in Chrome and Firefox on Windows.

Can you help me please, with this, I installed all, and Apache and MySQL servers are connected, but for some reason my browser is not responding on my comands over MAMP, but it is responding when I open my page directly from htdocs.
Document root on MAMP is setup C:MAMP/htdocs, so it is good, and I cant understand what is happening.
