do i have to do it only on windows server ? because i try to do it in my local computer wich has the full sql server instance. and i did exactly what you did, but once i did the email test it never arrived to my personal hotmail email. you said you first configured your domain server on your domain controller but i havent do that yet, but searching how to do it i have found that i have to install active directory on a windows server. so i'm now a little frustrated :P
