It is equipped with a CVT gearbox driving the front wheels.

Really impressive acceleration for an SUV with a naturally aspirated engine. It doesn't have a whole lot of torque, yet it seems to pull its weight along well. This is the advantage of living in countries where the elevation is relatively low. This being Germany I'm assuming it's probably just a couple of hundred meters, not to mention cool temperatures. Here in South Africa, i live around 1600 meters above sea levels, and summer temperatures is almost always 30+ degrees celcius, which isn't optimal for vehicle performance either. At this elevation, many people really shy away from Cars or SUVs still using naturally aspirated engines, because they lose a ton of their power up here and become really sluggish. If this Outlanded does 0 to 100 in 9.3 seconds there, it will probably be around 11 to 12 seconds here. I test drove a 2020 Mazda 2 1.5 N/A with 115 Horsepower a few months ago when buying a new car, and it really felt dead anywhere in the rev range compared to my 2020 Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost that i bought instead, even though it had more Horsepower on paper.

I have one just like it. Very smooth car, works well on flat highways, but has a hard time going up mountain passes.
The engine is very good but the CVT transmission penalizes it a lot on climbs. Despite everything, I love its finesse and smoothness and at legal speeds the consumption is good for the size of the car.
The comfort is superb. And the trunk capacity is very good.
I changed the lights to xenon because halogens are very outdated.

I have the same car . 2.0 ccm engine with CVT. For Finnish traffic rules this is more than enough. And average fuel consuption is 8 litres here. It is model 2020 ( decembar ) and i already have 12000 km. I am satified

Oh nice, I've Canadian model, 2.4L 4cyl. is standard here, with 3.0L V6 in option
AWC became standard too

I've 2.4L and it does feel powerful, AWC is a must for our winters

bruh i own outlander 2020 for a half of a year now and i wasn't thinking its able to drive like this XD

I had a Nissan CVT go out got rid of it but got a newer model and then traded it for the outlander struck out once and succeeded twice gas mileage is great power band is way more powerful than the detractors say it is i pass everything including the gas station zipping around v6 V8 like it's nothing and i look good whilst doing it

i have a 2015 model with the 240hp v6 and it tops at 210 km/h thanks to the electronic limiter. barely any faster.
but it does get there in like a third of the time.

Great video!👌 Mine was also 2.0 engine and sold it last year just because of cvt transmission which was driving me crazy. Not natural changes, high speed on highways was bothering, that sound of cvt😒 a little 1.4 tsi engined vw polo is behind you, asks for lane🤷🏻‍♂️
