Great idea!! unfortunately, i tinctured my Goldenrod yesterday. I will have to get some more & do an oxymel! I have a friend who keeps the dried goldenrod (mostly leaves) in a jar & she adds a big pinch when she's cooking just to add extra nutrition. It's so mild in flavor it doesn't really affect anything. The dried stuff crumbles up to nothing like other dried herbs we cook with.

May I ask if you store it in that jar with the metal lid? I was just reading because I Infusion ACV with Sage for the 1st time for salads and it told me not to store it with a metal lid jar. But that is all I have at the moment.

Thanks for this information. Seems like all I see are tinctures in vodka. I cannot drink alcohol ever again so I usually just pass on these herbal remedies.
