Just had a Hip Injection today by Don Franklin M.D and it went smoothly with a pin prick like pain and then a a little worse prick as the needle entered the joint area. Nothing to be afraid of, I will do it again in 6 months if I get the relief I am hoping to get.

I had one yesterday and oh god it hurt. They made sure that it deffo got into the joint by ramming in the needle till it went between the ball and socket 😮. Now it’s so painful, it even hurts to sit. I thought my pain was bad before it but the couple days now i have had after it, its way way worse 😢 I hope it gets better and more deal-able soon

I was like 16 when I got cortisone shots in my hips and it was excruciating not even gonna lie, that “local anesthetic” is aNother lovely giant needle going into your hip, not laughing gas or an iv in your arm😭
Hoping I don’t need those ever again god it was traumatizingly painful and the after effects I couldn’t walk and they didn’t give me a wheelchair out so I used an umbrella and stumbled out, deliriously, because holy heck does that make you feel woozy n intoxicated, and then waited for my ride, alone 😅💀
