Pokemon Legends Z-A could be the first game in the Switch era for Game Freak that truely brings huge changes to the core fundamentals of how Pokemon games are made, revealed and played. Let's break down all the new evidence and what's so exciting for the upcoming game.

I think the lack of info we’ve gotten about Legends Z-A is the fact that the first trailer suggested it is a cross-gen game getting a simultaneous release. So my guess is that we’d be getting more info once we get at least a Switch 2 vibes trailer, if not the First Look trailer.

Honestly i am a bit iffy about even playing scarlet and violet cuz of all the glitches that almost make it hard for u to even play the actual game but as for sword and shield I really had no problem with the visuals I thought a lot of their major site were beautiful to see although I think its weird to be nitpicky over some tress when I think they're fine and it actually felt fun to play and not too much of a hassle to complete the pokedex with a smoother process at the daycare and the way the poke.on were in the overworld and the rotom phone was a big help in helping u locate the next catch for convenience. Also I do think the visuals for legends ZA will be better since not only are they taking more time and are strict on what they show they are also taking initiative by hiring more people and are putting more focus on the game rather than juggling multiple projects like they did before but I also don't expect it to be fully flushed out with visuals like gta since stuff like that would take like a decade or more tbh and it is a pokemon game. I personally hope they do give new megas mainly to pokemon from gens 5 and 6 and maybe some onward cuz there's already enough from 1-4 and that they give good mechanics to interact better with our pokemon since I'm more of a fan who enjoys the immersive experience of pokemon to live vicariously through my avatar to experience the world of pokemon and its whimsy which is also why I'm not that hard on pokemon lore since tbh most big deep stories usually just go over kids heads and it is marketed towards them and i don't go to pokemon for its stories anyways but I do remember what happened to gen 5 when they tried. Also for legends arcues I love the new concept tbh and I plan to play it soon but I also don't have that much of an issue with the visuals like it's not bad, it could be better but still pretty good but I don't wanna play the gen 4 remakes cuz in terms of the visual easthetics I'm not into it and cuz of the dex cut. So while I think legends ZA will improve compared to scarlet and violet I'm not expecting like thee best game ever but still I bet it'll be great

Why does this lesson go out the window when it comes to pokemon?

The graphics do not matter

Pokémon is about the lore, the soundtrack, the story, the character designs, the messages and themes etc


All this hypocrisy is so exhausting

Nintendo has the most sustainable business model. Going lower-tech and lower-spec was the smart play. Nintendo is one of the only companies that realizes they make video games... not "technology". GAMES. Sony has completely lost this perspective, and I'm not sure that Microsoft ever had this perspective.
Nintendo is the last REAL game maker around that happens to also make consoles.

I think Nintendo has seen this coming for a long time. With age comes experience, and this company has seen many adversaries rise and fall. Nintendo saw their competitors promising better and better production to the point where there is no return on investment and only their frail fundamental IP to justify hardware. Now the third parties are fleeing and afraid of partnering.
Nintendo have been playing the long game and it has paid off in spades.

When we say Nintendo consoles and games are inseparable we mean it literally since the devs make both the console and games at the same time together simultaneously

One thing is for sure, millions will buy the next Pokémon game. ( I would too whenever it's a main core game since red blue yellow, but sv is the first main core that I have yet to play even tho I bought both in 2022 )

I personally enjoyed Scarlet & Violet but I also understand why the game got the reception that it did. I think with that in mind and the fact there’s games like Palworld out there to create a sense of competition, I think they realized they need to step things up now.

They also should take feedback for the Abnormal Normal-type pokemon. New types ARE needed REGARDLESS to Terapagos lore.

From the graphic side of things there’s only so far you can a 7 or 8 year old console. I think for being on dated hardware it doesn’t look that bad when it comes to glitches and I have no idea what the development cycle was so I don’t know what to say about that.

Ugh, once again- the only difference between this news cycle and SV's is that there wasn't a Pokemon Presents the week before Worlds.

Ishihara showed up during the opening ceremony on Friday and mentioned that there will be Pokemon video game news during the closing ceremony, which always happens no matter what.

Now he never explicitly mentioned Legends ZA, but remember that we don't even know the starters in Legends ZA so we'll at the very least get an official announcement on who they are. Which, I think this is guaranteed news if my theory on who the starters are is correct.
