Pokémon Legends: Z-A[a] is an upcoming 2025 video game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch. Announced in February 2024, Legends: Z-A is part of the ninth generation of Pokémon video games. It takes place in Lumiose City in the Kalos region, based on Paris, France, which originated in Pokémon X and Y (2013).

I think the whole reason dragonite sheds it skin when it mega evolves is to show the previous colour that it was when it was a dratini and a dragonair, also, it has the same pearl and the shedded skin and wings become the rest of the flying mechanism😊

If you do a Unova list here are some that I would love to see:

- Zebstrika: I always liked it despite it not being very good, maybe it could also get the Fire typing?

- Scolipede: All-around underrated Bug type in my opinion.

- Escavalier: I think he'd be especially perfect for Kalos. (Accelgor is an honorable mention as well)

- Mienshao: a fighting type that I always liked and I think could use some love, maybe it could even get the Fairy typing upon mega evolution.

- Haxorus: Even if he's on the higher end of Pokémon that could use a mega, I still would love to see it, I would also hope he finally gets the Steel type he deserves. Also he's is my favorite Pokémon :)

I think snorlax, kingler, butterfree, nidoking, nidoqueen, primeape, golduck, poliwrath, machamp, cloyster, lapras, and tauros deserve a mega evolution!
