Pokémon Legends: Z-A releases simultaneously worldwide in 2025!

Pokémon Legends: Z-A, an ambitious new entry to the Pokémon video game series, will launch on Nintendo Switch systems in 2025!

A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is under way to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.

Anyone else notice the description doesn't say "across Kalos" or "within Kalos", it says "within Lumiose City"... I wonder if the game map will be one gigantic city 👀

Kalos was the most undercooked games imo, so finally getting some answers and a continuation from that game is well welcomed in my opinion. Hopefully we get more info about AZ, the war, and Zygarde here.

The fact that they haven’t actually shown us footage of the game yet is ( hopefully ) very promising. And the vague 2025 release date without the “early” in front of it also ( HOPEFULLY) suggests a long development time!!!!

I'm SO happy they're contiuning the spin-off. PLA was such a refreshing take on Pokemon. I was convinced it was just going to be a one time thing.

- Game not releasing in 2024, so they have time to not rush it ( I hope ). Also we don't have in game footage, which is a good thing for graphics I guess
- Unexpectedly, we're finally gonna get a legends kalos game that will talk about the war 3000 years ago. I was expecting it to release one day but not that soon, I'm really happy.
- Finally the return of mega evolutions and a zygard fully developped ( I guess since it's pokemon Z ).
- Yes we didn't get a unova remake, but at least they tried innovating.

As a 6g and mega evolution fan, I was positively surprised about today's announcement. I really hope they release it mid or fall 2025, I think that would be good

I had a theory that there would be a legends in Kalos because the legendaries from Kalos weren't in scarlet and violet. It reminded me of the lack of sinnoh pokemon in sword and shield.
