I have also faced it as I am living in s. korea. My brother studies here and is very bullied as they differentiate us from the society saying we are brown people and we are not good for them. I also have faced it. One day while hanging out with my indian friends some Korean boys came and said we can't come in clubs as we are brown people and ugly. I do not have any intention to disrespect korea but this is the experience I have faced in korea in last 6 years.

Went to Korea for two weeks holiday. One aunt asked me to take a bath longer so my skin ( I'm brown) would getting whiter. Went to a convenience store, 2 guys were hurried away while laughing at me. Went to a clothing store, nope, nothing for my size (I was considered thinnest in my country). Went to itaewon because foreigners said they have all size clothing stores. Yes, but with humiliation because we did went, saw the size fitted me but the owner said " it's too small for you" which was clearly not.

It's laughable to me how they consider themselves some perfectionist and say other ugly, if we brown and black ppl known for ugly because of skin tone then I have a full lists of them like small eyes, wide nose, round face, plastic surgery obsessed, crazy mentality fan obsessed etc, if we tell them can they really digest it, then they will surely say it racist. And another main thing is behavior and mindset . If you don't have any of these don't open your mouth to get second hand embarrassment.

Ps: I am not being racist here just discuss some bitter truth and not to mention american max tanned who are famous celebs, american mindset korean.

Actually this happened with my grandma she went for shopping at south korea and she was choosing clothes and the waiter came and pushed her and removed the cloth from there and later my dad he reported the manager and they shouted at her and we went of without shopping there
