New Viewer Experience: Guide to Champion Select and the Professional Meta-Game

The 2016 League of Legends World Championship is upon us! We're broadcasting live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, October 29th. If you're new to watching League of Legends as a spectator, we're running a special broadcast designed to welcome viewers like you and prepare you to watch the 2016 Worlds Final.

To give you a head-start on leveling up your League esports knowledge, we're releasing this special preview of our New Viewer Stream introduction, which we'll feature in full just before the match on Saturday. With the exposure of esports to mainstream media it is probable that the League of Legends finals could be broadcasted on national sport channels so it is super nice to see Riot help people to explain briefly and clearly the game to the people who happens to watch it casually (e.g. family members of a gamer) so that they can at least understand how the game works

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird Phreak and Zirene basically never look into the camera? Like aren't they supposed to explain stuff like this to non-League players instead of explaining it to each other?

So why does it even display the player names during the pick/ban, if all the champions are swapped around anyway? I am new to LoL (hence why Im watching these videos), but this seems like useless UI clutter to me.
