I live in Australia and these are honestly quite hard to find, there just isn't many of them around. Interesting thing is they go for nearly the same as the L405 which indicates its strong appeal. Honestly it's one of the most beautiful cars I've laid my eyes on. They start in the 45k region here in Australia from what I've seen though 💀. Great video mate love it !!

Wish we had the 4.4 diesels here in Canada, I love my 5.0L SC but I drive 130km/day wouldve loved the economy, down-low torque and the ZF8

Nice video! I wish we had the 4.4 diesel with the 8speed in the North American market, all we got was the 5L and 5L supercharged petrol which are notorious for the timing chain failure. The best years for us are the 2006-2009 4.4L and 4.2L petrol V8s, 2008 and 2009 being the best option.

I have been fortunate enough to own each model of Range Rover apart from the L460 too new atm. I still have 3 of the 4 model variants - I can say each generation model has had the best blend of luxury and practically and I have vastly enjoyed each.
Like you I have a small farm and use the cars for towing trailers, caravans, carrying dogs and the odd sheep! So practical but can still go for a meal at a nice restaurant and not feel out of place….
I have not had any really serious experiences with the cars over the years the key for me is picking the right model in each generation and buying OEM or original parts - don’t skimp just because you can buy them for £10k or less…. Happy motoring.

I purchased a late 2012 L322 4.4 TDV8 2 years ago with 82k miles, a part by SH but unbelievably clean in every way. It’s the cheapest car I have owned for more than 20 years and is without a doubt my favorite. An Awsome car in every way.

Thanks for the video! Looking forward to the follow up video! Might pull the trigger next year, currently in a L320 2010 HSE. All the best from Sweden

Thank you for the presentation. Here in the antipodes, thess cars have a small but dedicated following and they are twice the price ( even allowing for exchange rate). I own 3 Toyotas and this project Lexus. I share your enthusiasm for cars. I liked your interior points. Looks very comfortable, a surprising amount of light! Take care. Subscribed!

They got it right in the last 2 years of L322 production with the 4.4 engine and 8speed box. Almost all of the bad rep of these cars was due to previous engine and gearbox options. Not saying it has other issues but no more than any other car of its complexity and age. I’m keeping mine and my only regret is not buying one earlier.

They’re such a versatile vehicle, such presence on road, L322 one of the best cars made. Great video 👍👍

Having owned l322 are great cars, currently got a l405 witch is just an update of the 405 in looks and tech. Personally i love them both. If you look after them they will look after you. Ive had my first issue witch is fixed was the oil cooler but that’s known sorted for many years bar bushes and usual ware and tear I’ve not had much issues off them.

Great video, totally agree. Had mine 3 and 1/2 years, 2012 AB. Unfortunately bought before prices dropped again, so been stung with some depreciation, but paid for a low owner, well maintained one. Do Love it, always a pleasure to drive. Gone overboard with maintenance 😅 use for all our long road trip holidays and back up 2nd car when running kids around. Enjoy working on it and maintaining it. Use a skoda Superb 2.0 TDI as daily for heavy lifting most of the time. Look forward to rhe next update.

Agree, overall yes is the answer, but you to have a specific mindset at a particular stage in life and be willing to spend when the need arises. I have had one for 7 years with 223k on the clock and used daily. Used in a rural setting daily and only gets washed by the rain. It is rugged and refined at the same time. As it ages/miles creep up be prepared for the irregular to happen eg bonnet catch/wire break, split turbo vacuum pipe, fuel tank sender unit et al. It’s all part of life’s reach tapestry of RR/LR ownership; you just need a stomach for it!

This is THE car. I love driving this machine every day. With pleasure. They stopped making cars like this. It ended with the L322.

No wonder they retained it as the official and personal car for the late H.M. Queen Elizabeth even when she could afford the latest RR Autobiography.

They are amazing machines…bought my Autobiography Black edition in July, 155k with 3 owners in exceptional condition through out
I’m doing 1000 miles a month in it just because I love it soo much.
Fast, comfy, fully loaded with HD audio and rear recline seats, done a proper off road course in it where it was unstoppable
Best car out there for the money if ran properly 👍🏼

They are far better looking than the new Range Rovers.
