Krav maga is a real military fighting style based on real life last resort fight situations, this isn’t made for hollywood or can only be done by hollywood, not all practices are guaranteed to work but they are meant to be a reaction and a way out of a bad situation, you have better odds of getting out unharmed and unfazed in a fight with krav maga rather than your uncle’s crappy shadowboxing.

No of course what is shown here isn’t 100% real as doing some of these moves would cause real injury which is not required to be shown in a demonstration of krav maga.

How realistic is it to disarm an enemy? In the video, it looks like it would safely work with the right technique. But I can't imagine it's possible to take the weapon out of someone's hand.

I train in Muay Thai. It’s really effective in street fights but in tight situations like a weapon or key it’s not as effective as like jiu jitsu or judo. Still I think Muay Thai in mma and street fights are very effective.
