Cryptid By State Louisiana

As expected we are continuing our cryptid family road trip as we try to uncover what beasts roam about Louisiana. To be honest this state didn't want to give up it's legends to easily but luckily I was still able to compile quite a unique list of unusual cryptids.

"But I do appreciate the story."
I couldn't have said it better myself.
Thanks Ben.

My mother used to live in Louisiana and told me about giant dragonflies over a foot long with equally large wingspans as well as her hooking an outright ancient alligator gar over twenty feet long but the boat they were in was to small to bring it to shore with.

And for the Georgia episode I can confidently state that me, my mother, and one of our neighbors saw (what I assume) was breeding pair of Ivory Billed Woodpeckers which are listed as extinct.

First: Delaware!
My daughter said this was awesome video! Then we started talking about dinosaurs because you brought it up. Turned into a mini lesson and she had a few ideas about how Pterosaurs could have possibly survived if they infact do still live anywhere in the world.
Thanks for the continue discussions my kids bring up when we watch Criptid By state 😁

Ahhh yes my home state! Very rich in storytelling and I love that aspect of it. The real cryptid here are the bird sized mosquitoes out for a snack on a pint of your blood 😂

As always, very enjoyable. I really like the lesser known cryptids. Bigfoot to me is a yawn cryptid, to many videos about it. More lesser known ones, please. Always love the history. I really don't remember which states are left so I'll go with Delaware. Thanks for the excellent research you do. Have a great week.

The Parlangua acts the way it does because of its gator traits, not lizard. Gators are notoriously bulletproof except between the eyes. Their eyes glow red when you shine a light in them, which is both super cool but also hella spooky when you're touring the bayou at night. Gators also tend to snack on food and save the rest in their underwater dens, under logs underwater, etc. So, all of the traits you described fit with a man/gator monster.

I`m in Louisiana. In the upper half of the state where Scots/Irish live, we say New Orlins. Cajuns say Nawlins.

I live in Southern Louisiana that Dino Gator that you were talking about in this video is actually a saltwater crocodile. Sometimes they swim up from South Florida up to Louisiana
