Hayden Christensen perfectly depicted a fucked up 20 something year old struggling with a prophecy revolved around him being a messiah, whilst hiding the love for his wife and dealing with emotions towards the loss of his mother after being taught not to give into feelings. He depicted perfectly how the Jedi order doesn’t know how to raise kids.

3:02 I never noticed this until I watched it in 4K but you can see his eyes go from blue to Sith yellow

What I find interesting, what anakin says about the Jedi is that he obviously doesnt believe it, but that he has to and is trying to make himself believe it for his decisions to mean or amount to something with or without padme now the high of his new sith power had worn off.

I love this fight 9/10. The only reason I give it that though is because come on, dude just couldn’t jump 10 ft to the left and keep fighting, he had to try and jump over him?! That was kinda weak. I know Anakin was angry at the time so maybe he wasn’t thinking it made a terrible error but still. They could’ve made that better. That’s my only grape though. Fantastic fight

I mean i totally get why he had to sit there and let him burn for story reasons, like we need him to burn and live to become vader but there is something pretty messed up about letting someone who you care for to sit there and burn to death instead of just putting them out of their misery after making them a quadruple amputee lol.
