I have both and don’t think clear is worth it at all. If only saves a few extra minutes, costs $190 annually and still requires precheck.
Mine is free through my status and I still think it’s silly. Lol

Yes, you paid Clear to allow you to cut the line. Their business partner (the airport that owns the real estate up until TSA) gets their cut as well.

Hold on, let me get this straight?I am paying Tsa precheck and get approved by the US database so that I don't need to remove my shoes, ok, nice BUT what garantee do we have that someone else who is also a low-risk traveler and who got approved aswell does't show up with an explosive or a freaky weapon in his shoes?Since he doesn't need to remove his shoes??What the hell?
