“No evidence to arrest him”

*literally has video of him entering his house*

the way the ax hits him in the head always makes me cringe, just feels so realistic

I can forgive the lying about cancer, the scare in the woods, the general antisocial behavior, and even a playful ax blow to the head. Dude is just looking for a friend. *But I absolutely draw the line at furry masks*

The entire time I was watching this movie, I kept saying stuff like “Oh come on, I would _never_ do that!” It wasn’t until the very end of the movie that I realized: That’s the point. Aaron constantly tries to look for the good in “Josef, ” despite everything that happens.

Once he was at the car window, I would’ve reversed out of there. Ani’t no time to be funny!

The Bathtub scene was the most painful part to watch. So awkward...

What is extremely unsettling is the fact that the film felt "too normal." This could very well be a real situation where a person gets involved with a neurotic, unhinged serial killer. The lack of whizz-bang special effects immerses the viewer into a situation that they really do not want to be in. The director is insanely talented 👏

I had a boss like Joseph. Loved scaring the shit out of me; loved trying to manipulate me. This movie reminded me about what a scary time that was.

When he met him at the park he could’ve had the police on standby, kind of like a sting operation.

"Ain't no fool"? He should have told the police where he was going and why, not just put the police on speed-dial.

This is one of the best movies many people haven't heard about. It breaks the mold of the traditional found film type flick and really sets itself apart.

It's his fault for believing in him despite being told to stay away. He's closer to being dumb than being too nice.

The way Joseph scares and manipulates Aaron actually reminds me of my abusive ex best friend. Gives me chills.

You should do The Perfect Host. David Hyde Pierce plays a seemingly quiet, courteous man who has his home invaded by a hurt fugitive right before he is expecting a dinner party. The fugitive gets more than he bargained for when he realizes the party guests are not as they seem. Great black comedy/ psychological thriller. More people should know this movie--- and the ending is kind of ambiguous to me.
