What I love about this movie is that it investigates how people are willing to be so uncomfortable just to be polite or compassionate, throughout the entire movie Aaron was clearly uncomfortable and wanted to leave but stayed because he felt bad for the “terminally ill” guy.

What's crazy about this movie is that it tells such a great story with only 2 actors and a single camera. You've gotta give hella props to the actors and director for accomplishing this.

*spoiler* Joseph in the wolf head swaying his hips was the scariest part for me. Aaron should’ve just turned around and ran the other way.

I think the point of Joseph doing obviously weird is that he tests how long a person would overlook something due to courtesy/passivity and that’s how he chooses his victims

If Josef's other victims were as stupid as Aaron, it explains why he's been able to get away with this stuff for so long.

Joseph’s sister sighing on the phone killed me. She don’t care her brother is a murderer lmaooo

the funniest thing about this movie is the fact that even with all those red flags, joseph doesn't do anything to aaron while they're in the woods besides scaring him lol

I'm so glad you made a Creep video!! This movie is 100% slept on.

Tbh if I was the camera man, I would have sprinted out of the house the second the guy said "tubby time"

aaron and his infinite iq is astounding, the way he continues to do exactly what joseph wants him to do while making himself entirely defenseless by not looking out for a person he knows is dangerous

It'd be really interesting to see you cover Creep 2. Since Josef spends the entire movie confused why Sarah isn't scared of him, despite telling her that he is a serial killer. Meanwhile, Sarah thinks he's just some weird guy that is messing around with her so she'll film him. She is way more assertive, proactive, and engages Josef in a lot of his way behaviors. Sarah is way different than Aaron and it throws Josef off his game.

good thing about horror movies is they're basically teaching you what not to do when put in these scenarios

although it is very frustrating to watch how obliviously naive they make these people just so they can make specific things happen.

Aaron got what he deserved. I've seen some pretty stupid characters in horror films, but this guy is something else.

This is one of the best horror movies I’ve ever seen. The man playing Joseph is the most convincing creep I’ve seen portrayed in film. And the subtle humor is great. Awesome film.

I don't think it's made clear enough, but I think they try to give the impression that Aaron is so "gullible" because he kind of craves friendship. He seems like someone who might struggle socially. I feel like he was somewhat excited to have someone around who's excited by his presence and has an interest in getting to know him. The desire for validation can make you overlook a lot of red flags.

Thé only thing that could’ve redeemed Aaron whatsoever would have been if it was revealed that he was also a serial killer. He just kept going along with everything because of how bizarre Joseph was and, at the end, kills Joseph with the axe out of nowhere and adds the video to his collection.

The amount of red flags in this movie and the second one is insane

It’s like Moses turning the nile into red and being like

“Yo nice how much kool-aid did you use?”

Well that's a great question I guess I never thought about that
I suppose now that I should watch this 40min long video to know the answer

I haven't known serial killers but I have had friends that were mildly like this. Manipulative people constantly pull at your emotions to push you into territory where you're not comfortable, they come up with weird games or rituals to make things happen in their environment that people aren't ordinarily comfortable with. If ever you feel that tug of guilt, or fear of being singled out, or overt passive aggression; respond with aggression. People like this fold like tissue paper. Above all, never ever keep them around. Cut all contactt.

Classic movie. One of the few horror movies this century that didn't require devil/demons or gore. The jumpscares were way more authentic and not forced (maybe because of the lack of suspenseful music in the background). The dude who played Josef bodied the role literally. Aaron might be the worse horror movie protagonist than the women that fall while running from a monster or ghoul lol. Great video as always NE!

Joseph: *literally sends Aaron a death threat video*
Aaron: It's fine, if I don't think about it, it didn't happen ;)
