Neuroscience

Neuroscience is the study of the brain and nervous system, but there are many approaches to doing so. Neuroscientists may study the anatomy (neuroanatomy), physiology (neurophysiology), or evolution and development of the brain. Alternatively, they may study molecular neurobiology, neurochemistry, or neuropharmacology. Neuroscience also includes clinical case studies by neurologists, neurosurgeons, and neuropsychiatrists. Cognitive, affective, and behavioral neuroscientists are among those who study the neurological basis of how the mind works (psychology). The newest branch of neuroscience is computational neuroscience, which uses mathematical models to understand how the brain works.

Neuroscience is such a huge umbrella! I wish I had had this video when I was in undergrad trying to figure out which area to go into. The University does a pretty poor job of exposing you to all of the different perspectives and scales that you can view the brain from. Great job breaking it all down!
