God's name is YHWH (Yahweh). This is known as the tetragrammaton. This is God's proper name. It means that He is who He is or He will be who He will Be and seems to illustrate that somehow God is separate from what we call time. The Bible says that God has always existed. God told Moses "I AM WHO I AM" and God said "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you." God has always existed; and, therefore, simply IS WHO HE IS.

"I will praise the NAME of God with song and magnify Him with thanksgiving."--Psalm 69:30

"Righteousness and Justice are the foundation of Thy throne;
Lovingkindness and Truth go before Thee.
How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound.
O' Lord, they walk in the light of Thy countenance.
