Just been diagnosed with hip impingement I’ve been pretty inactive for the last year, before that I could kick very high. Now it causes pain to kick high and was told I wouldn’t be able to as that’s the structure of my femoral head!

Crazy timing to have this recommeded to me, I just went to the doctor because of my horrible hip internal rotation and I was quickly told I have "bad hip cartilage" and must give up my sport ambitions because of it. I am going to try the exercises in this video and anything others I can find to fix these issues and I will not give up until I've exhausted every solution on my own terms 💪

I don't understand how does it strengthen internal rotation? It looks like external rotation with foot. Does anybody know if Matt has more detailed video on this exercise?

I was paralyzed 3½ years ago but i never gave up n one of ur video changed my life in which u explained almost Every muscle for flexion n extention n it helped to find the right video to change my life thank you so much

My internal rotation is appalling, barely registers, just 5 degrees of rotation. It’s very painful to try and stretch and sore for days afterwards. I’m working on it though, hoping it frees up my back too
