Many celebrities have reacted to Joost Klein being disqualified from the Eurovision 2024.

Is this unfair that he was disqualified?

There just was a statement from AVROTROS, the dutch broadcaster.

The woman in question was a camera woman. She filmed backstage. There was an agreement in place that Joost would not be filmed after his performance backstage. This is exactly what the woman did. Joost asked multiple times to stop filming and honor this agreement. The woman did not listen and continued to film. Eventually Joost reached a tipping point and made an agressive move towards the camera. No physical contact was made. This was why he was disqualified.

If this is indeed what happened I find the disqualification way out of line.

A camerawoman filmed him after second semi final although it was agreed he wasnt filmed but she did not stop even after several demands of Joost so he made a move towards the camera. She was not touched so now he has to go and she can stay. World upside down

The fact that Joost Klein will not be allowed to perform tonight is incomprehensible. He's not allowed to participate due to supposedly “unacceptable facts”, facts they don't even want to share with us. Meanwhile, the EBU lets a country that is killing thousands of people participate, talk about justice. I hope Joost knows he has made everyone smile and proud, especially his parents. Let the man perform again next year !

Joost was not inappropriate, but the camera woman was against Joost. He told her three times to not filming him and she didn't listen. So who is here inappropraite?

THE TRUTH IS : There was an "Izreeli Film Crew" that spent all day harassing and trolling any artist that wasn't sympathetic to their cause. Despite Joost repeatedly telling them he did not consent to their filming him, they got right up in his face, yelling at him (I have seen this clip which has since been deleted) Joost simply yelled in response. Incredible the power these people have to totally control and manipulate the media.

The main reason for Joost's disqualification was due to an incident with a camerawoman who repeatedly filmed him despite his polite request not to. Joost made a threatening movement without touching her, and as a result, the camerawoman filed a complaint. It's unfortunate that this incident resulted in the disqualification of Joost, as it left 18 million Dutch people disappointed. The EBU's decision to disqualify him was also regrettable.

Zero tolerance:
EBU production team-member messed with the emotions of one of the performers while there was an agreement in place this would not happen.
Firing the camera-person and the person who send her there is needed for 'zero tolerance' !
EBU can only blame themselves for this incident and should apologize for messing with the contest by revoking the results.

i love joost klein so much man, and he did NOT deserve to be disqualified at all. But I am certain that his parents would have been proud of him, no matter if he won or not. :)

A safe environment means not filming someone when they asked it. Accept people's boundries. And they aren't even honest about what he did? He was mad. But i don't think he hit her. They want him to look bad when they told about 'an incident with a women'. Why soecify a wonen? They could have said a crew member.

If he really did something bad he deserved a diskwalification. But we don't know?
