So many wonderful books arriving in the post must bring you so much joy! 😊

Though most of these intrigue me, those which stand out most for me would be Eden, Good Citizens Need Not Fear, Hamnet, Marram and The Ninth Child. Books set anywhere in the UK steal my heart but there's just something extra powerful about the Scotland Highlands...I always picture castles, rugged scenery, lone pipers, etc.

In March I bought Trollope's Is He Popenjoy, a few by Maugham, Le Fanu's Uncle Silas and Bulwer-Lytton's What Will He Do With It? All Classics which I'm excited to get to. I know the least about Bulwer-Lytton.

Hi Miranda! Of Course, I just ordered more books per your just have to have any epistolary book so Business as Usual was a must. And then obviously, Letters of Note sounded interesting so I ordered 2 of these, and last but not least The Bass Rock sounded up my alley so that went into the shopping card as well. LOL. Thanks again for another wonderful video with some very intriguing books! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on these! Take Care!

Hello Miranda, well top of my list of ' would like to read' is Leonie Charlton's Marram because, like you, I am really attracted to anything to do with Scotland ( my daughter's name is Léonie and you pronounced it as we do which was lovely to hear). Having visited the Isles and trekked on hill ponies, under the fearsome guidance of Montgomery's grandson in Camusrory as a teenager on a school trip, I just have to read this. Thank you once again, more books to inspire and to look forward to reading. (ps. My pony was called Pegasus! I adored him), Teresa 📚💕

I spent the whole of yesterday reading ‘Cluny Brown’ because of your recommendation. I loved it and can’t wait to read other books by Margery Sharp. This past week I listened to ‘Three Men in a Boat’ and ‘Less’ by Andrew Sean Greer - the former is a favorite that I’d only read and not listened to, and the latter was another great comic novel that I loved. I pre-ordered ‘Square Haunting’ after hearing your podcast episode about it and will start on that when it comes out in 2 days. I've just downloaded the audiobook for ‘Dark, Salt, Clear’ after watching your video and will start on that now - it sounds so intriguing. I’ve really been in the mood for some nature/travel memoirs or humorous classics these days. Thank you for these recommendations!

Hope you are staying safe. Business as Usual sounds fun. I am currently reading The Lost Wife set during WW2. I think I will pick up The Priory by Dorothy Whipple next since I loved They Were Sisters so much.

Always good to watch your videos!
You have a lot of interesting suggestions, "Losing Eden" and the "letters of note" series look particularly intriguing. I like reading other people's letters as well :)
Have a nice reading month!
