These are crazy scary times we live in now, hopefully books provide us some solace. Your edition of little women is absolutely beautiful and i have heard nothing but good things about Bear Town, looking forward to what you think of it. My chain of gold copy just arrived and i can't wait to finish it.

Oh wow, so many new books! I own The House with Chicken Legs but in translation, I bought it for my mum (we often read the same genres' books 🙂), she liked the book very much, so I thought I have to pick it up, I hope the translation's language is good :)
Happy Reading! 🔆 📚

I bought The Library of the Unwritten on audio and listening to it, but not sure if I like it yet. I gave The King of Crows 3 stars, thought it was okay. I hated Beartown, 1 star, and my first Backman book. I also gave A Good Girl's Guide to Murder 3 stars, but already forgot what it was about!

First, no one breathing can buy too many books. 😉 Second, . Beautiful book covers are dangerous for you and me. Just saying, .! A middle grade series you might like is by Jessica Townsend -Nevermoor. Loved it. Also Shannon. Messengers Keeper of the Lost City series . I will not be revealing how many books I have bought this year but it suppasses the number I've read by a great number. Shh, don't tell my husband. These days I'm glad I have a home library. Gives me comfort. And again now because of you I have two more books going on the endless list of books. 🤣Love seeing your beautiful face and your cheerful ways. Stay safe.❤️

❤️❤️❤️ you’re VERY welcome, Michelle! You’re lovely and you definitely deserve a gift. I really hope you enjoy it! 🤗 Now that most of us are self-isolating, I am thinking of treating myself and I’m very interested to hear your thoughts on Library of the Unwritten, Witches of Ash & Ruin and My Dark Vanessa 😊 A good girl’s guide to murder is excellent imo and I’m not sure how feasible this is but if you would ever like to buddy read something in the future, let me know 😊 take care xx

I thought Beartown was really good but I absolutely loved A Man Called Ove by Frederick Backman! It was sad yet so so sweet.

Hey, Michelle. I hope you're staying safe and healthy. I read Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas. You're gonna love this story. If you think Birthday Girl is weird, you should read Misconduct by the same author. It's about a teacher and her student. Great video. Stay safe.

Great video! I am currently reading ''The Secret Garden'' by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It is so magical and beautiful and in the beginning, you also get a bit of historical context regarding India and the British rule. I do have issues with how India is mentioned, though, but I do take the historical context into consideration, and the time the novel was written in. Still, of course, I don't approve of the manner of contrasting India with Britain and some mentions of people in India. If we try and look past this, though, and follow the story, the novel has a great value and many hidden meanings. The 1993 version of the movie is also wonderful and, Maggie Smith is in it! I recommend! Next ones I plan to read are:

1. Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
2. Demian by Hermann Hesse
3. Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse
4. The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared
by Jonas Jonasson
5. Man's Search for Meaning
by Viktor Frankl

This is just to start me off, but I will be deciding on more!
