This video is way better than trying to read those stupid instructions. Thank you for making it!!!

You must have made a version of this where the blades are not replaceable? On mine the bolts that hold the blades are not allen or phillips, they are just smooth & round, not designed to be removed for some reason. They are pushed through a solid molded piece of plastic, not like the one in this video.

I have found that pressing both release tabs are very difficult, and i can assure you my hands are strong, Currently the machine has the dual blades, and i need to change back to the trim line head, but getting the dual blade assembly off is there something i am missing.

Great video.
I bought the Ryobi because it wanted a battery powered trimmer that was reasonably priced. I am not a fan of string trimmers because of the hassle that the spool of string presents. Trimming with plastic blades seemed the way to go. I saw the 2-in-1 attachment and paired it with the Ryobi trimmer's model number. I took it home, looked at the video, and in less than 5 minutes was ready to go. (I did have to wait until the battery was fully charged.) I'm not a fan of the fixed line, so if I wanted to use it as a string trimmer, I would probably just reinstall the spool and cap.

I needed new bladed heads you know the orange blades so my friend bought these thinking they would fit because that all they carry at home depot here and i have the 40v weed Trimmer. But these for a 18v trimmer. And he got 3 extra packs of these blades too.

What do we do if the fixed length line just comes shooting out of the assembly when we start the trimmer?

You all are right about this hedger, I think the solution is is to buy an edger, and then a separate weedeater. I haven’t tried these plastic blades with the line yet I’m going to do that today can anybody tell me does it edge around the driveway or sidewalk OK?

I have no luck using the fixed string. I put them into the eyelits as suggested but they spin out of the trimmer. I thought maybe i wasn't pulling them tight enough but after making sure they are secured. They still spun out. Suggestions?

How come every time I re string with fixed line the line comes flying off? It’s the right size. I haven’t been able to weed eat with my new weed eater yet because of it.

This doesn’t work with the 40v model. Super stupid product decision to have many different skus of the trimmer heads

The fixed line just comes flying out immediately. I even tried tying it on. What gives?

I put the plastic blades on and the entire piece keeps flying off of the trimmer. Is there anything that can be done to stop this from happening?

How does this attach to the Real Easy Trimmer

At first I thought my model doesn't swivel like that. It's just hard to move the first time, at least for an older person.
