My wife bought me one about a year ago. I got it stuck immediately! At first I had it attached to my Dewalt 3/8” corded drill. That drill is a torque monster for what it is. Then, I got my 1/2” corded drill I use for tire changes. I ended up breaking the little M Effer in about 30 minutes. What really adds insult to injury is that my wife blames ME for the failure. Bottom line is that cheap stuff off Facebook that takes over a month to get in your hands ain’t always worth your time or money. Thanks for sharing your HONEST opinion.

All other demo videos I've seen approach the wood at the cut end, same as if you whacked it with a hatchet; not hitting it mid-grain. Works really well.

Thanks - your video supports all the reviews I'm seeing for this drill bit. Many of us probably don't own more powerful drills that may be better suited for the application, and even that doesn't ensure success.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of wasting money to find this out myself

I welded mine onto the threads and always started the end of the wood

A hammer drill would cut down on runaway torque

I just got one and it got stuck one inch in using my electric hammer drill.

I'm sending it back.

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to run those in reverse

That looks like a lot of efin work just to split firewood. I'll just get Joe Biden illegal immigrants to split my firewood fer 2 bucks a hour.
