I watched a lot of these before and they don’t show you is what happens when the wood doesn’t split. The bit becomes a drill and it can get stuck in the wood. This will cause the wood to spin and hit you if the wood isn’t held down well enough to prevent it from moving. Very dangerous and wouldn’t recommend.
