It's so nice to see somebody working with plants that actually know what they're doing. My family had a garden center from 1930 to 2005. I was one of the very first in Texas to be certified a professional. 💜❤💜

Great tip! I tried this a couple years ago, and it really works! Thanks for spreading good information like this, instead of some other crap I've seen that's made purely for veiws.

We love growing basil! Last year I really stayed on top of it and was able to make at least a dozen batches of pesto for the freezer, our family and friends! Yum!

2 summers ago I had the best basil I've ever grown. I ended up allowing 2 thirds of the plants go to flower for the bees because they grew so well and produced way more than my family uses. I even dried enough to get us through winter. They kept going till early winter when the first frost hit them.

I grew a basil indoors under lights and it grew into a long leafy vine that went up the wall and across the ceiling. Pesto all the time. Basil is also super nutritious

Ahh, the good old apical dominance. The only useful thing I learnt from the plant hormone chapters!

I think it's time to invite me over for pesto.
