Ugh. Terrible focus. Couldn't see most of the cables or headers. Redo.

Its basically regular chain connection of fans and then one goes to RGB 5v pin and one to Fan pins.

Despite my computer culture, I still don't have much experience with RGB. I have had two 200mm Aerocool DUO20 fans for at least 2 years. Thanks to you I gave them colour for the first time via the 'Addressable Gen2' connectors on my Asus ROG MAXIMUS Z690 FORMULA which I had never connected 🤣🤣🤣🤣

No shit I just fired up my PC and its all rainbows and glowing. This is the first time ive pc built a PC myself. I honestly wasn't sure if it was going to work or catch fire! It works though. You video really helped me understand what I needed to plug where for the fans and lights! Thanks for that!

Very nice video, very informative. Good job! One thing to keep in mind for the future - when you are showing cable connectors to the viewer - keep them still and let your camera focus on the actual connector. Most of the time it is out of focus and the viewer has no way to see the actual connector on their screen. You can easily bring in a still image into post production which would nicely show the head of the connector, all the pins, etc.

I'm having a problem and could use some help: I have 3 Riing 14cm fans. I did the controller just how you showed. All 3 fans are plugged into the controller. The controller is also plugged into the PSU correctly as well as to the motherboard. When I power on my PC the fans are spinning and basically rainbow colored. Here's the problem: When I try to use any TT software (Such as TT RGB Plus) it always tells me "Cannot detect controller, please check that the fan controller is connected." Please help me know how to fix this, as I would like to be able to control the color of the fans. Thanks!

Demystified the process for me a little bit. Trying to do a 10 fan argb setup (360 aio side or front intake, 3 bottom intake, 1 rear exhaust and the 3 top exhaust) and I wasn't sure which headers to use. If my argb comes with a fan controller would I only need the 1 controller into the 5v rgb header on the mobo for the 7 daisy chained 120 fans and then the 360 aio into the aio header on the mobo to sync all the rgb with software? Or would I need to use 2 controllers with 4 fans in one controller that bridges into the 2nd controller with 3 fans, that runs into the 5v header on the mobo? I'll probably be using the asus tuf z690 and from what I gathered it has 4 regular fan headers, 2 rgb headers, the 2 cpu fan headers and an aio header. Would the controller(s) occupy 1 rgb header and the aio the 2nd rgb header?

So for the ARGB, do I just download the software instead of plugging the extra cables except the 4-1 pin ARGB connector? I recently bought a fan splitter and I connected it to the 4-1 pin ARGB connector and it works, but my LEDs aren’t on. I have a ASEUS motherboard so do I have to download a software for AESUS? If you could answer my question, I would appreciate it 🙏

I installed my TT fans today and the RGB doesn't seem to be working. They're Daisy chained together then connected to the 5v argb header on my ASRock x570s pg Riptide mobo. Everything seems to be connected correctly.
