🐢About Gus:
Gus is a 99-year-old Gopher Tortoise who lives at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Born and raised in Florida, he was living at the Ross Allen Reptile Institute in Silver Springs until one day in 1942, when Don Crowdis, Director of the Nova Scotia Provincial Museum, bought him for five dollars. Gus is loved by Museum staff and visitors.
