Until you realize that "Jews don't count" is the title of his book, the title of this video makes no sense!

A more proper title might read "David Baddiel Argues in his book 'Jews Don't Count' that Anti-Semitism Is Racism ."

David Baddiel's book was a powerful read, but not one I thought would lead to appearance on an American late night show. My thanks to Seth Meyers for being brave enough to bring on an esoteric guest that could be controversial.

its really awesome seeing all these british comedians finally hitting the american mainstream (im considering an appearance on late night as mainstream haha). david baddeal, james acaster, aisling bea, natasia demetriou...you gotta get more of them on your show seth!! so many funny and talented comedians over there...jon richardson, joe lycett, jessica knappett, phil wang, morgana robinson, harriet kemsley to name a few.

but on a serious note, glad you had david on the show to talk about his book. anti-semitic crime has gone up dramatically in the past few years and it seems like its not really talked about as much as other hate crimes that are racially motivated.

Used to love and still do Baddiel and Skinner, they were my favourite comedy duo, Baddiel isn't the same without Skinner but still a top comedian love his stand up comedies

His objection is not to racism itself, just when it is directed against him. The only reason he even apologised to Jason Lee at all is because he wanted to make this programme and it was pointed out to him how absurd it would be not to address Baddiel's own history of racist abuse.
