It took me years to realize this was a christmas carol movie without Christmas theme

Love the part at 1:18 when Adam flips off Samwise Gamgee (I don't know the character's name). Teases him one last time but finally acknowledges that he's a good man who took care of his family when he was on autopilot all those years.

Touching scene.

This is one of Adam Sandler's best movies. From a comedy to a serious moral-worthy drama. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie :)

13 years later and this scene still makes me cry so much. This was such an emotional second and third act for a comedy.

Why did Critics rate this 33% on Rotten Tomatoes!? This is one of the most emotional scenes I have ever seen.

I don't care about the *reviews*, this was underrated for a movie, this scene justifies it.

The environment. The score. The acting. Everything about this scene is perfection. I wish Adam Sandler would do more movies like this because he has so much potential as a dramatic actor

Morals:
• Cherish every moment of your life
• Family comes first
• Be careful what you wish for

*This movie deserves an Oscar*

How tragic would this movie had been if it just ended right after he died?

This was a pretty underrated moment of Adam Sandler’s career. He needs to take on more dramas and less comedies. This film especially in the 2nd half of the movie made me realize on how good Adam Sandler could be when he gets the right dialogue.

I’ve scrolled through quite a few of these comments and I find it crazy that I haven’t seen any that mention the music!! That’s whats making this scene so, so emotional and heavy. Rupert Gregson-Williams went above and beyond with this score, particularly the cue in this scene, and it 100% gives the scene what it needs to be heart wrenching.
