For My Parents | 1 hour handpan music | Malte Marten

This piece is dedicated to my mum and my dad. I visited them together with my older son right between Christmas and New Years and was gifted with a beautiful melody when I played for them in the candle light of a cozy winter night.
Gratitude for all the effort they did, all the sacrifices and all the worries while helping my siblings and me to find our place in this world.
My music always speaks of gratitude and the way I grew up plays a big role in all of that.
Thank you Mama & Papa.

Because it’s both their birthdays in February I found it quite fitting to share this piece with all of you now 💛

I just got in my car and started in the weirdest thing happened multi came on the radio all by himself through my radio and I didnt even have the channel up on yt.
For my parents- it was my Mom and Dad letting me know they are here with me today.
I will now save this o e to my playlist for those days I have that stro g urge to say "Hi Mom! Hi Dad"
Music is so spiritual in nature and tgis affirms it even more.

I am trying to come to terms with what was missing in my upbringing, (emotions, feelings, love, touch, belonging, being able to be myself, rather than what was expected) while simultaneously planning a trip to see my parents, with my son…I am so stressed out about it. This video arrived on the heels of an email from my dad, guilting me out for sharing that I was super anxious about the trip to see them…thank you for helping to calm my worried spirit. It is a good reminder that I can find the calm without so that I can bring it within, no matter when, no matter where. Like rain drops, their feelings are theirs and mine are mine., drip dropping out of us. Keep calm and carry on…❤

malte this one has to be one of the best for me, so much emotion I could cry in joy.. Life is never simple but I am very grateful to be alive and very lucky to have my parents and family I have. Anxiety and depression is sadly getting the better of me and trapping me in my home alot, Despite it I am luckier then alot of others who suffer in other ways some in physical pain. So I consider myself extremely lucky.
