Did you catch this in Matrix? During the movie's action sequences, a subtle allusion transforms a straightforward tribute to the original movie into a reference to the actor. Resurrections replicate many of the settings and scenes from the first movies, including a restaurant that Neo claims serves "really good noodles." Thomas Anderson can be seen eating noodles at a diner multiple times during a montage in the opening act of Matrix Resurrections. Although this is a direct allusion to the statement from the first movie, it has lately been noted that the reference goes a bit farther. A photo frame can be seen hanging on the wall above Thomas Anderson in one of the images. It is a photograph of Keanu Reeves that was shot while the cast and crew were filming the first Matrix movie and went to lunch there.
