Oculus Rift review

Now that the Oculus Rift has been out for a while, is it worth picking up? We find out in our full review.

I play Elite Dangerous for hours and only get nauseous when driving over rough terrain on planets and when the stars spin during hyper jump. So, I simply close my eyes during jumps.

The only thing that is truly mind blowing are the people who say that this technology is garbage or a fad. Like all of us, I've literally had dreams of becoming my favorite heroes, and with these devices it's magic. Finally a dream come true. All three headsets out now are outstanding, and I support them all, for a first generation device, there is no other time in existence I'd rather be born... but then again if I change my mind, I'm sure there will have a VR experience for that 😘

I love the way every single reviewer is harping on the need of having a gaming PC for a next gen PC experience. It's like the way everyone said about Gear VR needing flagship Samsung phones... as if anyone's going to buy this stuff if they don't already own a player. Instead say.. Samsung S6/S7 owners.. Gear VR is a great deal for $99, or hey PC Gamers.. the price of a new monitor brings you a level of experience you'd only get at a planetarium!!

if screen resolution of oculus is better than HTC, i can't even imagine how bad is HTC.. Even so called" better pixels" oculus seems awful to me. i think we still have quite a way to reach a decent quality VR experience..

For a channel called "VR Source", you sure do not sound so enthusiastic about VR. I have a samsung Gear VR and I think it is amazing. If an amazing experience can be delivered by just a phone, I cant imagine how good the experience on the rift is. I have a PC which I havent upgraded in years so I wont be getting the Rift but I do have the PSVR on pre order and I did try the PSVR at the PlayStation experience and thought it was amazing so I look forward to getting it.

You need to get in another line of work, youre not very energetic about what you are talking about, or maybe just lay off the heroin before you begin recording.
