it's more like a Metal Low Ball than a regular Metal Ball, which may be better, because lower center of gravity, and also the rachet can only be targeted by even lower stuff

Maybe they'll make a metal flat with enough material to file down into Ball instead? The advantage would be the higher burst resistance
