If you have a round face like I do, half inch goatee tapered to the sideburns about 1/4” on the sides. 1:41 then fallow this. When I’m bulking I cut it lower to reduce the size.

I've always had a strong jawline, but then when the pandemic hit I decided to put down the razor and see. I now have a Dan Bilzerian type of beard. I realize that my jawline actually helps the beard look more pronounced and sharp when looking from the sides, if I trim the bottom correctly. So having a beard is not always to cover up a weak jawline. A strong jawline can make your beard look even better.
