WHERE ARE THE TABLESS LXT 18V BATTERIES??? You have LOYAL customers who need better for their 18V tools. I will not buy into the 40v Makita platform if you allow the 18v platform to wither and die. That’s a promise.

When the 1st one came out it cut thru the same wood smooth and faster than anything anyone had ever seen. Now that the last one came out, the 1st got intimidated and bugged down.

Makita need to start from scratch knowing what they know now. Do a buyback type scheme or conversion kits to let everyone upgrade and make a new standard. 18v was close to perfect but underpowered for bigger tools, but the 40v too big and ugly. Especially as we move into jackhammers etc be good to have a standard that made sense

I don't understand why if you already have a second handle, why you would need a side handle. Why not get rid of one and bring down the cost? Seeing as we need the extra cash to pay for your batteries

Its hard to see any difference in a little video like this, but tabless cells do run more efficiently. Tools and stuff has a better video comparing the bl4040f to bl4040. Its an upgrade but not life changing. Works great for power hungry tools.
