This is suuuuuuuch a game changer guys! 🤸🏼‍♀️

If you are trying to learn to handstand, and you kick and kick and kick and can never quite seem to get your hips/legs high enough, this is totally for YOU!!

Under balance is the term given to not finding balance and coming back down the way you went up.

And it is a beginners biggest crutch! I remember how frustrated I felt at WHY can I not get my hips up?! I was convinced that it was my legs that weren’t strong enough??!! (In hindsight: 100% never the issue)

The issue is your centre of gravity.

Shift those shoulders FORWARDS and then try your kick and I am so so confident you will immediately feel the difference 🙌🏼

Drop me a little 🤸🏼‍♀️ in the comments if you’re working on your handstand at the minute. What do you feel is YOUR biggest crutch?

Typically beautifully explained by Liv. Something I've never given much thought.
Will try that 🤸👍

That can also lead to overbalanced and falling too far forward. Having the wrists nicely warmed up and at 90degrees and using the fingers and hands to give sensation of pushing past the ground I think is better way of thinking about it. Proper wrist flexibility means you don’t need to think about having shoulders over knuckles, that, and shoulder flexibility.

I can easily do a headstand. You would think I can do a hand stand!
