I'm very glad you decided to start this "reboot" of the basics. As an avid watcher of candle-making videos with the distant hope of selling candles one day myself, I sometimes get overwhelmed with all the moving parts of it all. I've been wanting to take a deep breath and start from the beginning, now that I've gently broken into making and testing candles. Although I could easily start with your first video and work my way through again, I think having you start over after all you've learned as a professional candle-maker will allow you to add footnotes you weren't able to add years ago. Looking forward to it.

I'm sure one of your videos mentions this but not many others do. I started making some candle and most of the time I'm impatient and just jump right in. I noticed that my white candles started turning yellowish brown. They do not tell you that it can be caused by the fragrance oil, also there was a product I believe it was UV something which protects the candle if its in sunlight basically like a Sunscreen for candles that you should use for it to not turn brown

My wick despite the fact that it is not very high, leans in one direction making my candle melt more in a specific area and not achieving 100% melt pool. It is like a waxing crescent (or whatever is called in English) because the wick is not still. Drives me nuts. Erica, what should I do about that? Thanks!

I recently switch from letting my candles cure in my diningroom to switching to the spare room in my home. I’m having room temp issues, being the room is smaller. What temperature should I keep this room to prevent my candles from sweating?
