Am I correct in assuming focus peaking does not work when using 'vintage' lenses or mechanical lenses (no info sent to camera)where you have to dial in aperture and use the focus ring on the lens?

Second comment. For manual lenses with no CPU contacts and no f-stop getting back to the camera I turn off LV and just turn on the histogram and use the EVF histogram and then the rear wheel to adjust shutter speed to get a correct exposure. Does this sound too clunky?

I am trying a SL, the menu for MF is greyed out, I cannot find the magnification menu, the only option I see is focus peaking. using FW 4.1

I thought that the close focus adapter also reaches infinity... I have one from a different chinese brand and I could reach infinity with every lens I have.

I see some forums advise that for non Leica lenses ie Voightlander to choose the closest from the Leica list but you set Lens Profiles to off. One advantage of your approach is not having to go into the menu with each lens change. Any advice how to best approach this?
