A very nice and fresh approach. Thanks for posting your settings and the reasons for them. It helps to hear WHY you set certain things the way you do. I have miy SL3 too, but always want to learn more.

Have noticed that prior to firmware 2.01 user profiles appeared as (0/D), (0/1, (0/2) etc through to (0/6) where “/" represents the icon for a user. If a profile was changed a “*” was added, that disappeared after the edited profile was saved. After firmware 2.01, the “*” still remains even after saving the edited version?

Ok, well your button setup is a little cray, cray….just saying lol. Here’s how I setup mine. Press thumb wheel for magnification, then use the wheel to quickly scroll in and out. Press focus joystick to reset the focus point. Use body front top button to cycle through focus modes. Use bottom to af settings, Use top of camera buttons iso/white balance. You could use the EVF/screen button to change to video if you wanted.
